WINTER ACTIVITIES

WINE TASTING
We are able to offer individual or group transfers to a number of fantastic local wineries within close proximity to Lavenford. check out a single winery for lunch or join a tasting tour and visit them all

RELAXING
Enjoy a quiet book, a tasty charcuterie platter and a glass of wine in front of the fire either in a camp chair around the fire pit or inside your own private glamping cabin on a comfy lounge.

WOOD FIRED HOT TUB
Enjoy a relaxing soak in a private outdoor hot tub. with a glass of wine, a subtle whisp of woodfire smoke and a view to die for
SUMMER ACTIVITIES

MOUNTAIN BIKING
You’ll find kilometres and kilometres of off-road mountain bike riding fire trails both on Lavenford and linked to the neighbouring State Forest.
HIKING
Bring your hiking poles, sturdy shoes and plenty of high-energy foods, because once you get started walking our hiking trails, you aren’t going to want to stop. All of our trails are clearly marked according to level of expertise.

CAMPING
There are more 20 private campsites scattered throughout Lavenford. Demand is high, so book in advance. Note that developed sites have basic facilities such as shared camp kitchens and toilets; backcountry sites have no such facilities.

WILDLIFE
You’ll find an incredible selection of wildlife roaming freely at Lavenford. from black cockatoo's, kangaroos, deer, wallabies, Emu's, echidnas, platypus, Koala's and Possums. Enjoy taking photos but do be sure to keep a safe distance. Also, respect the wildlife you encounter, as this is their home.

CANOE TRIPS
Travelling by canoe is one of the most relaxing ways of enjoying the waterways at Lavenford. Move along the water at a gentle pace, enjoying the scenery as you go. There are canoes, sit on top kayaks and life jackets available for guests to use.

RIDING
We have a huge array of horse friendly trails that also link into the neighbouring
State Forest fire trails. We can facilitate BYO horses or can arrange transfers to local trail ride operators for those without horses.
